Hogwarts Express

"so what classes are you two teaching?" Mildred asks as she takes a swig of the firewhiskey.

"Charms." she said simply

"oh, interesting" Mildred says.

"I am muggle studies and the new hufflepuff head of house. it is a shame what happened to the last head of house. i heard she had an incident involving a badger and a faulty broom, i hope she gets better soon."

Kevin yawned and nibbled on some chocolate frog..

Makenzie looked out the window idly, wondering how much longer it would take to get to the castle.

Kevin wondered where all the students were then quickly remeber that none of them have joined Hogwarts. He sighed.

Edward had been in Hogsmeade staying with Aberforth Dumbledore. He was ready for school and he wanted to be the first one through the gates.

"This ride seems a lot longer than it did when I was on the way to being a student..." she said, not sure who she was even talking to. The silence was becoming a bit awkward and she didn't want it to continue.

"I agree.." He smiled.."So what do you like to do Makenzie?"

Mildred looked out the window as the countryside passed and thought about all the great times she will have with her classes. When the lunch cart passes she orders a weasley ear pizza and a butter beer pint.

"Too many things to list," she shrugged. "I have a feeling teaching's going to become one of my favorite things, though... mostly considering it'll be pretty much the only thing I have time for once the school starts." she said with a laugh. "What about yourself?"

"Well i like to play quiditch...drink wiskey...and teach." He smiled.."I really just like to have fun with my students. Thats my passion."

"Yeah. It's never good if you're the teacher all of them think is boring... I kind of view myself as the students' friend as well as their teacher, you know? It's all about making sure they know you shouldn't be viewed as threatening."

He took a swig of whiskey,"Well dont be too friendly at the beggining, or they will run all over you.."

"I know that," she laughed.
